i normally just use embroidery thread, but you can truly use any type of thickish thread, like yarn, hemp, anything like that

@allykam I personally prefer embroidery floss over craft thread, since for me it breaks less. I buy the Michaels brand, which holds up well and is cheaper than other options.

If you have a Michaels store near you, I highly suggest going! I got embroidery floss there, and it was very cheap! Amazon is also great because of the fast shipping (usually)

embroidery floss. you can buy this from many stores ranging for craft stores to even walmart. I recommend the brand loops and threads. you can find this at the craft store michaels they have assorted bags or you can select colors. amazon also has a good selection. you can buy plastic organizers with the floss already put on cardboard bobbins.

Personally, I use embroidery floss! I know a lot of people also use craft thread or even crochet thread. Personally, I think craft and crochet thread are better for base strings for alpha bracelets.My favourite embroidery floss is by a brand called Pllieay on Amazon. 100 skeins for £7.99 which is a bargain. Other good brands are DMC and Anchor but they're a bit more expensive. |

I use embroidery floss as I like the texture and it has so many nice muted colours for bracelets. I use to use craft cord (I don't know exactly what it's called maybe craft thread.) but I didn't like it because it's got a kind of weird texture and I just don't like it. It has less colour options at the michaels near me. I just hate that embroidery floss frays.

embroidery floss is great, plliey and dmc perle are also good. however dmc perle is a little expensive (1.79 each)
