If you want you knots to be tight just pull harder each time on the string.

@Birte for normal bracelets my personal preference is knots that are on the tighter side, but do whatever feels comfortable for your hand (just make sure they are all tight enough to stay in place) and you might see them be a bit more consistent. this only works for some people but its worth a shot 😄

@Birte ohh ok, i would watch Masha Knots’ basic knots video on youtube if you have access to it. i assume you know the knots but just to maybe see how she does it? hope this helps 😄
