hello! I'm super new here and I was looking at alphas and how it turned out for other people and i noticed something. Idk why but to me it looks like advanced ppl who make bracelets have their own way of making them? it just doesn't look like its regular forward or backward knotting. here are some pictures:

https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic60e182cc294bb1196589252 <- this looks sm different than the regular knotting

this is the same alpha but it was when they just had started it https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic60e1830b48499410779275

basically I wanna learn how to knot like this https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic60e1835e69ece1466821503 and https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic60e1838754e411670612695

idk if I'm just tripping and maybe they r just knotting tight or something, I was thinking maybe it was like a clean back technique or something?? (the person who made these bracelets is angelica_1)

The knots in the pictures are indeed very clean and uniform. However such neat knots come with a lot of practice.

Here are some points to look into-

Get the knot tension uniform- make looser knots so that they are more even. Then you can also push up the entire row of knots upwards with a ruler to even out the row. Start slowly adjusting your knots as you go and eventually you will get better and more comfortable with it 😊

Use the flat alpha technique for alphas as they keep the alpha flat and uniform. Just search up flat alpha technique on YT and you will find some good videos. There's also a written tutorial in the tutorials section on the website.

Use the same brand of thread or use similar thickness of threads for the entire bracelet.

some people may also be using the backwards alpha technique. all your strings come in and out on the front because the back looks much neater, in some people's opinion.

oops didn't mean to post it yet. i personally haven't tried this technique but plan on using it soon. it also looks more uniform while the front can look lumpy/different sizes. i hope this helps! and remember, everyone has different styles, skills and abilities! yours arent better or worse than anyone else's so you can admire and appreciate others but don't compare yourself to them!! happy knotting <3

Especially in the last picture, every second row seems to be smaller/not that high, almost like the knots were lying. Does anyone know how this happened? Like, using the ruler only after every second row? Different tension in backword rows?
