Issue With Alphas.

I have a problem that I don’t really know how to fix. I don’t know if it has a specific name, but I’ll try to explain it the best I can. When you make some alphas, some patterns only use a color on one or two strings for a long time and when you bring it back in, that small section doesn’t really fit into place and it creates this weird loop. An example of what I’m talking about is pattern #92356. When you look at the pattern, you see that there is this border on it and those colors aren’t used anywhere else in the pattern. How do you keep that section connected to the rest of the bracelet? I hope at least one person knows what I’m talking about. |

The flat alpha method will fix this, and it also keeps the bracelet flat (obviously 😂). Masha Knots teaches it in her YouTube video called “flat alpha bracelets”

Just a thought, @ljpierce, but you could write your problem and the solution as a comment under the pattern. So if somebody else is having the same problem, they can find the answer immediately.

When you color change, you need to weave the old leading string in when you replace it with the new one. You do this by making a regular half knot in the direction you are going, and then you put the old leading string right above where you are making the new knot. Then you finish off this knot, therefor successfully weaving in the old string so that it all fits together. I hope someone finds this useful.

You described it good. 🙂 But actually I ment not here, but instead where the pattern is. Or just putting the link to the video there. You know, like it is on Duolingo. You get a sentence, have a question, so you read the comments under the sentence and most likely somebody else already asked exactly your question and got an answer. You read it and then carry on. It's so much more convenient than asking yourself and having to wait for ages for an answer.
