How do I search for a friend

Hi, I have joined a couple months ago and I have been trying to add a friend, but when I go to friends I type in the username in the Username contains box. I press apply filters and nothing comes up and I know that this person does exist and I spelled there username correctly and I added everything that I need. Please help me if you have any tips please add then. 🙂

Make sure you’re searching for the person in the users tab to the left and not the friends tab. Then make sure all the filters are set to default and put in the username in the username box.
