I guess you mean to actually making a bracelet from a normal pattern and not creating the pattern so what I would say is use tutorials at first, learn how to segment knot (I think that bracelets made row by row look a but messier at least for me) and make your knots looser, that made my bracelets look so much neater.

Then I can’t help you, I’ve never made a normal pattern but if you look on the tutorials section i am sure there is something that can help

Try out the interactive generator if you haven’t already and experiment with different shapes. Make chevrons, diamonds, horizontal lines, etc as your base and then add more details. It takes practice, but the more you use it, the more familiar you become with how to structure patterns
