I would start with normal ones so you can get the different type of knots down! #4319 (the chevron one) is a good one to get down basic knotting! I hope this helped and good luck! 🙂

I have a Fourth of July one on my profile that I made, and it’s just a Stars and Stripes normal pattern, so that should be easy, but if you have been making bracelets for a while then you should be just fine with any shaped bracelet.

I think it doesn't really matter if you start with shaped normals or shaped alphas. Here are some patterns that you might want to try:normals: snowflake #23580 diamond #34952 #61158 #61157 braid #14689 chevron #14708 #26545 #14801 candycane #63105 watermelon #15134 rainbow #27160 alphas: frog #89623 stripes #64484 evil eye #49390 striped fish #50105 |

All edges in shaped normal bracelets are done the same way as the edges when you do a triangle start. You just have to adapt the technique to it.

hey! i’ve made a lot of shaped patterns in the past. i would recommend starting with #40777 since i’ve written a tutorial on it. if you haven’t made a shaped bracelet before, i’d strongly recommend making a “circle” bracelet like #40777 rather than making one in a different shape (such as #45533) or one with holes (such as #42360). i hope that helps! 🙂
