What I mean for my alpha patterns is that the strings always overlap causing the pattern to not show even though I am following tutorials. The string never seems to be where I want it to be. The knots are messy af. I can easily do normal patterns but alphas are too 'finicky'

Can you put a picture of a bracelet that did this as your profile picture?

It's really bad so I don't want to set it as my picture lol, but here's a drive thing: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BMdbv023vv8LI54QS5JcDDyrxr0Q67ZGWQcAyne-sqI/edit?usp=sharingI mean I can set it as my profile pic, I'm just a teeny bit embarrased about it. It's supposed to be among us but looks like a toaster. (Oh and sorry I didn't respond, I was really busy today 🤯) |

It looks like instead of pulling your strings behind the base strings or using the flat edge technique, you’re just leaving them and tying a knot at the top. Make sure that when you finish a color, do a color switch or just tuck them behind the base strings. Don’t cut any of the leading strings until you finish knotting the bracelet
