I usually loose interest or motivation while doing a bracelet and quit halfway. I really like doing bracelets so I start a bunch and never finish them. Any tips?

I am the same way but just think about the sooner you finish the sooner you’ll get to make a new one and the reward of seeing them all finished is good…maybe if you don’t want to spend as much time in each one make keychains then they will look finished and you can make more patterns. 😊

That’s a great idea! Does it work for you?

What works for me is not starting a new bracelet until I finished my current one. I know a lot of people like to have a lot of different bracelets to work on at the same time, but I don’t think that would work for me if I did it lol

I try to limit myself to having no more than 5ish unfinished bracelets at a time. You can also set goals for yourself, like finishing a certain bracelet by the end of the week, getting to a certain point in the pattern by the end of the day, etc. It might also be helpful to make yourself spend 5-10 minutes every day on unfinished bracelets

I do mine for challenges so that’s what pushes me to finish them, I have 3 unfinished bracelets that I am working on.

I like to listen to YouTube commentary and videos that are 30-1 hour long and try to do as much of the bracelet during the video

what i do to stay motivated is that we all know how good it feels to finish a bracelet, so I tell myself how it feels so good to finish a bracelet and you won't be able to feel this feeling if you don't get up and start knotting. hope this helps! 😘

I can totally relate to this at times and I have a couple of tips that really helped me that I would love to pass along! My first tip would be to make sure that when you're working on knotting, you are also watching or listening to something that makes you happy! Listening to your favorite movies, or putting on your favorite shows to watch as you knot will help you to feel entertained and/or happy about what you're working on! My next tip would be to only pick patterns that you truly feel inclined to do because you love them. Sometimes when I just do a bracelet to check it off of my to-do list, it feels like more of a chore than a hobby! The last tip that I have is to create a pattern on the website and recreate your own pattern! Working on something that is uniquely yours could potentially motivate you to get over that initial knotting slump! I hope these tips help, Happy Knotting!!!!!!!! 😊 ❤️
