Wonky Knots

Hi, when tying alpha knots I find that whenever i change colors those knots look wonky and a bit messy compared to the others,and they are also a bit bigger and sometimes leave some gaps. this is particularly hard when there are several fast color changes in a row. I am a newby, does anyone have any tips 🙂 Thanks

try tyin ur knots a little bit looser. the problem maybe be that ur tyin them too tight, meanin that when u do a color switch, u can’t make the knot that has the string in it slightly smaller than the rest, so it gets a little wack. try loosenin ur knot tension 👍 hope this helps

Making sure you’re not tying the knots too tightly will probably help, but I think that just practicing will help the most. If you’re having a lot of trouble with the patterns you’re doing, you can start with some easier patterns that are only two colors

Thanks, I was tying them very tightly, I will tie them looser now.
