I tried posting a picture of an alpha pattern I did, but it got declined. Admin asked for a bigger resolution but I’m not sure what that means. Can someone tell me please?

@hjowens Make sure you’re not cropping the photo or zooming in at all, because that makes it a lower resolution. It basically means the photo has to be clear and not pixelated.

Hello, bigger resolution means we need a bigger picture. You may have resized the photo, cropped it, or taken a screenshot of it, and at the end it's too small. Hope this helps 🙂.

Thanks! I’m not sure why it’s smaller, I took it just like the rest of my pictures but I’ll try to retake a new photo and submit it.

@hjowens did you use the iOS app to upload the picture? I looked at the code briefly and found out we were resizing images to max 1536x1536 px before uploading. I totally forgot that we still do this in the iOS app. It could mean that the photo looked small if it was portrait. I tweaked it so that it resizes to max 4096x4096 px and submitted a new version to the AppStore. It will take a while until apple reviews it, though 🙂.

@hjowens 🙂 Yes, that seems like it may have caused the issue. If you didn't submit the photo yet, you might want to wait until the new version is in the AppStore. It shouldn't take more than a day, or a couple of days.
