Hi I’m wanting to start making alpha bracelets (I’ve watched a tutorial already) and I’m wondering what colour should be used for the base string? And how long should they be? Thanks 😊

@fenslopez hi, so it doesn’t matter what color your base strings are because you won’t see them that much. If you are making a keychain, I would suggest about 6-8 inches for the base strings, making sure when you tie your knots you have about 3 or 4 inches of string left so you have some wiggle room. And always give yourself a little bit extra string 🙂

The base strings should be whatever color you want the ties to be. If you’re making a bracelet, they should be the length that you want the bracelet itself to be, including extra for the ties
