@AlionaDic It’s pretty much knitting so that rather than doing row by row, which can be a complete pain, you’re able to do a whole row with one string and such. It would be a good idea to watch a video to figure out more how to do it.

Section knotting is when you can find a line, block or pattern that can be knotted with more efficiency than tying the singular knots displayed in the traditional pattern. Generally people look for what I call ‘core’ patterns like candy stripe, chevrons and diamonds where you can carry your knotting string for more than one knot at a time.

For example I’ve been working on pattern #25853. This pattern is great for segment knotting because you can knot each chevron in a row rather than knot two strings and set them aside and pick up the next two and set them aside and so on.
