Hey everyone! Does anyone know if DMC Embroidery Floss and Loops & Thread Embroidery Floss are of the same thickness? Have you ever made an Alpha Bracelet that utilizes both brands within the same bracelet? I know for Alphas the string thickness should be the same, and I’m hoping to use a mixture of my DMC Threads and my Loops & Thread threads to create an Alpha (*not the Loops & Thread Craft Cord). Thanks!

I think it would be fine! I have used them together before and it turned out fine. Maybe you wait for some other people’s opinions though.

From my experience, DMC thread makes slightly smaller knots that loops & threads, but as long as you’re aware of it and you make the DMC knots a little looser to compensate, it should be fine

I’ve used them both together in an alpha and I couldn’t really tell a difference. I didn’t adjust the size of my knots at all, but you can if you’re worried about differences in knot size
