You rank up by being active on the site. You rank up automatically, so you don't have to get approved or anything, but things like adding photos, variations, patters, and helping people on the forum are ways to rank up.

@keefe it does take time! You’ll level up eventually! Just keep being active, posting pictures, patterns, anything! Interaction goes a long way for leveling up!

i recommend being very active on here! like adding photos, variants, and even making patterns. another good way is to talk in these forums

You just have to add to your to-do list, add photos, talk in the chat and be patient. I recently became a skiller and I was an advanced for around a month.
