Large patterns for blanket or tapestry

Could you use the techniques for bracelet making such as forward/backward knotting with yarn or some other thicker thread(I don't know what types are all called) to make a decorative tapestry to hang on a wall. Thanks in advance.

i’ve done it with crochet thread. i don’t see why not. although yarn might get fuzzy. but in theory yeah you could. i dunno if anyone’s done it, but i don’t see why you couldn’t

I'm sure you could! Depending on the yarn it might get annoyingly fuzzy to work with though. Just make sure all of your yarn is the same thickness!

Yes, you definitely can. I have a friend who recently made a big wall hanging with yarn, and I think it ended up being over a foot long
