I almost always buy the 24 pack black & white (12 of each) DMC thread at either Michales or Walmart, you can also get the DMC pearl. It has a slightly different texture but I've found it doesn't affect me bracelets very much, and it is a larger spool, also at Michales or Walmart.you can also check kids crafts sections of any stores and they will probably have packs of thread |

If you like DMC and use a lot of black, I definitely recommend DMC cones. A cone is 450 yards of continuous (!!!) floss and you can find it on places like 123stitch, Amazon, and Joann's website. I have the white cone and it is so nice to have a continuous roll for my large projects. You'll never run out!
