hey does anyone know of a good place in the US or on amazon to buy black thread? i would prefer bulk packs so i don't have to pay as much. i know loops and threads got rid of their black pack : (

The DMC site has some great, high quality string. Amazon is also a great place to check. You can also search for craft stores in your area, a lot of them offer embroidery string

Amazon is great for black string, like suggested above, a 24 pack is what I usually get.

hobby lobby is the best for buying black and white thread in bulk. they have white and black packs of thread that knot really nicely for under 10 bucks!

I'm in Canada, but i usually go to Walmart where all the string is 79 cents. But I just recently got some from amazon and its pretty nice. It was a pack of 24 black and 24 white for 13 dollars I believe

@millie_g i used to get the black pack at michaels with loops and threads but my michaels doesn't sell it anymore : ( but thx for your suggestion!

Tbh you could go with Michaels like others suggested, but at mine they don’t have any so my best bet would be Amazon. A lot of the times they sell in a black and white bulk pack but with more searching you can find just a plain black pack
