I have been making alphas for a while now and I haven’t had any real problems with them. I recently got D-rings to make alphas on and I’m having this weird problem with them. I don’t know if it has something to do with the rings, but when I start to make an alpha, it starts to sway to the right. Im using the straight edges technique and I’m sure that all of my strings are the same thickness. I’m just confused as to why the alphas start to slowly sway to the right as I make it. Is there anything I’m doing wrong or anything I can do to fix this?

I’m not an expert but I would try taping down the keychain- I do this and I haven’t had this problem!

Yes, I would make sure the keychain is secure while making it so it doesn't move around. Also just be vigilant as you are making it, so if you notice one row seems to be not as in line with the others, you can try to fix it in the next row, before it gets too wonky to the point it can't be reversed. Hopefully, that makes sense
