Theres a ton of varieties of tye dye or variegated string on Etsy. I just bought some rainbow string from ancoracrafts and its great.

You could dye it you4 self Kraft Krazy has a tutorial on YouTube but you could take food die and put it on white thread. Or you could get some on Amazon or at a local craft store.🙂
