String orders confusion

Hello! I know how to do shaped ends (triangle ends). But I’m not sure in which order I should put the colors. For example, (and where this issue turned up) take pattern #11506. I wanted to do two triangle ends, each one in the middle part (the checkered part). I didn’t know which order to put my strings until I saw the other photos, and I don’t want to mess up on a pattern that doesn’t have any pictures yet. If you’re wondering exactly what I mean, I mean that I thought I had to do color, black, color, black, when in reality it was just color, color, color. I hope this make sense.

what i do is i take a screen shot of the pattern and then draw on it, (or u could print) and then draw lines where you want it to cut. the like stick part that represent the yehthat are on the

the stick parts that represents the threads that are on the lines you drew, those colors and that order will be what the strings should be, starting from the point to the widest part
