is every knot on a pattern double?

please help! on patterns it shows the arrows and where to knot but does it mean one knot or knotting twice, really simple question so can someone help me 😊

You knot twice for every knot. If you’re on the computer, you can click on each knot to see how to tie it, or go on google images and look up friendship bracelet knots. I hope that helps!!!
