Guys, Please help meI am a total newbie 🤪 and after I made my breacelet, they get wet and dirty easy after. So is there any way or things to put on them after? Also, since I use floss to make them, after sometimes there are many little 'furs' coming out, so it look messy, anyway to prevent that as well? Pease helpppp! 😢 😢 😢 |

Like after you make them, you'll put a layer of clear nailpolish on them? But will them become stiffer? 🤔

Personally, I wouldn't put my bracelets in the water. There is a way to wash them so they dry! Also, they will stiffen when you wash them. Masha knots has a video.

I've not tried it yet but you could possibly use the spray that you also use for shoes to get water resistant. But in general I'd also recommend avoiding water unless it is to wash your bracelet. Water is not the worst thing that can happen to your bracelet but it increases the speed at which it doesn't look fresh and new anymore. |

@Chaty_Chun That's sad 🙁 taking them on and off is kind of annoying especially this time you need to wash hands like every hour 😂

@bearyliuI wear some of mines 24/7 and never take them off but they dry pretty quickly. I used to have anklets and would never take the off because they were some i made with friends bu they faded really quickly. I wouldn’t recommend washing them a ton unless you have to, |

I wouldn't recommend using clear nail polish, as it will wear away relatively quickly, as well as it could cause some yellowing in lighter colored threads. There really isn't a way to truly waterproof a bracelet (that I know of) unless you buy and use a string that is waxed such as waxed thread.

you can wash your bracelets. masha knots has a tutorial on it. its basically like hand doing laundry, because bracelets are made of cotton string.
