hi i just started making alpha bracelets and my bracelets keep turning out with bumpy edges (if that makes sense?) does anyone know how to fix this or is it just what happens with alpha patterns?

Bumpy edges as in wavy like the bracelet is tighter in some places and wider in others? Or bumpy like the edge has ridges?

like ridges. i've noticed the same in other people's bracelets so i'm thinking it's just a thing that happens but i've also noticed some that don't have it so i'm not sure.

For me it just took practice to make my alpha bracelets smoother. The knots can't be too tight or too loose, so it just takes experimenting.

If you’re knotting normally the bracelet will naturally have ridges where your string carries down to the next row along the sides. If that’s what you’re talking about it’s normal but there are techniques to minimize this if it really bugs you.
