For the first alpha I recommend one that doesn't have too many colours (I'd say maybe up to 4) and one that isn't super wide (so maybe up to 10 base strings).

I started with simple text alphas but I would recommend similar to halokiwi nothing bigger than 10ish base strings wide and 3 colours- 4 or more if you feel you’ve got a good handle on your tension and even knotting!

Hello! I love making alphas and I think once you start you will love it!! here are some of my recommendations!#85506 #49682 #31379 #1615 Also, any name bracelet would be fine! I would stick to any that have 2-3 colors at most due to the color switching if you are a beginner. I also recommend watching MashaKnots on youtube to learn how to make alphas! I hope this helps! |

I would say for your first Alpha stick to not to many colors (3-4) because the color switching part is probably the hardest part.
