Really all you need is time. The more you knot, the faster you will get. I know wall hangings do take a long time and how you can sometimes become impatient but, it will take time. Hope this helps! 😊

I feel that if you are creating a wall hanging you just need to take your time instead of rushing. I personally haven’t created a wall hanging before but I feel if you want to do it I would suggest taking your time. Hope this works 🙂

It just takes practice! After finding how you knot and getting consistent with your knots there will be less mistakes and therefore it will take less time to knot! But the biggest thing is to be patient! In order for the wall hanging to turn out great you need to be patient and take your time!

Start with a wall hanging that is no more then 40 strings, it will help you get the hang of it and once you feel comfortable then move on to a bigger pattern. It also helps to be really comfortable with your alphas (if u are doing and alpha) before starting a huge one, I made this mistake before I really understood how to make alphas. You need more time!! And honestly I know they take forever but if you go too fast then it's not gonna look neat!!So take your time!

I cut a wingspans length of thread and use it as my lead string, it makes knotting faster cause you don’t have to drag around a skein or bobbin of thread, making the knotting go faster. Listening to music or a book also helps

One tip I would do is I take like an hour or 2 everyday and don't force yourself to do it because then you will get sick of it and check out the video above ⬆️

Some tips that help me finish wall hangings faster are working on it for 2-3 hours. I wouldn't work on it for anymore then 4 hours at a time because you may get burnt out. Also something else that may help is paying very close attention to the pattern so you don't mess up and have to constantly undo knots. Hope this helps! 😊 ❤️

I try to give myself a goal. So for example, if the pattern is 60 rows, I’ll try to do at least 2 rows a day, so that it will take maximum one month to finish. Plus, you feel more accomplished and motivated when you set goals

If you want to speed them up, I'm sure there are some videos on youtube. But if you take your time on them, they'll probably come out better and neater! 😊
