okay... im not sure if this is gonna make sense but im making a pride bracelet that needs six white strings and one of each of the rainbow strings. i can fold three long white strings in half but i can't do that with the rainbow coloured ones, if i cut them it looks really ugly. does this make sense? thank you for any help <33

Do you have a pattern number? A picture of the pattern works too. I just want a better understanding of the pattern

When that happens to me I usually do ties on both ends instead of doing a loop, like one twisted tie in each side. I have a picture of a bracelet like that (a green one) in my profile if you don't understand what I mean.

Like @onarts_ said, instead of doing a teardrop loop or something of that nature, you could do triangle ends. There are plenty of tutorials if you need help making them, but my personal favorite is one by Masha Knots on YouTube.

Yeah me too! It always bothers me that I can't make a loop with those types of patterns

Here is a video by MashaKnots how you can make a loop if the strings of a certain colour are an odd amount:
https://youtu.be/_IyGiKsjNJM

Basically you cut double the length of the strings you only need one of. You split the strings in half. (Each string consists of 6 strands. You split it so there are only 3 strands.) You fold them in half and loop them around the other strings that you have folded in half. This will secure them.
