Well, about triangle ends on alphas, there's two main methods- making them before you make the rest of the bracelet, and making them after you make the rest of the bracelet. I'd say it's best for beginners to do it afterwards, it's a bit more simple, and you don't make it harder to start straight that way. But, I'll stop rambling and explain lolSo, make sure you have an even number of base strings, that way you can split it into two real easy. If you want to do just one triangle, it's still best to have an even number of strings. Now, your base strings are an even number, you leave an extra 5-6 inches of string at the top, tape down a straight line (or clip it on a board, however you want to start) and just start knotting your alpha. After you've made the bracelet, you can go back and start your triangle ends. Split the strings into two equal bunches, and start knotting like you would a normal triangle end. I'd reccomend looking at videos to explain that, but 'Alex's Innovations' on youtube has a really good video on youtube about that, I think it's called "a comprehensive guide to bracelets", its a long video, but it's got time-stamps for certain techniques. As for switching strings, again, it's not best told over text, so i'd advise looking on 'Masha Knots' youtube about it- she's got a nice video about how to switch strings and such. masha's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YVFAX9sacw&t=476s Alex's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6-KQDLeKik |
