So uhm i want to start making alpha bracelets. And i don’t really know if this is gonna be a hobby or sum. Because i have add and i have a bunch of unfinished projects in my closet ✨so i was wondering, can i use normal yarn? like the type of yarn grandmothers knit with? I don’t really want to spend a lot of money on special types of threads etc. Maybe in the future if this becomes a thing, but not at the moment. My country is REALLY expensive tho. Its gonna cost me 50$ if i’m gonna buy the threads some of y’all are using for alphas, and even for 50$ i’ll just get a few colors.

I think it would be okay as long as you only use regular yarn and don’t mix it with anything else. It’s probably going to turn out a lot bigger than it would if you used embroidery floss though. If you buy from Amazon, you can find a lot of cheap thread that has lots of colors if buying it from a store is too expensive.

@Idkkkkk I have used only yarn before in my projects and they have turned out fine, although they are bigger than my other projects. One tip I have is separating the different strands of the yarn to make it similar to the thickness of regular embroidery floss. Hopefully this helps! 😁

Yep, yarn works but be prepared for thick bracelets
