I think the best way to organize thread is to put them on bobbins and organize them in a thread organizer by gradient rainbow.

I like to use bobbins and then i will find a random box in my home and put it in there. It's not the best way but it somewhat works! 🙂

Also when traveling I just precut all of my string so that I have a bunch of bracelets already started

@ag_knots I do bobbins as well however I keep my bobbins in small plastic bags that go into a bigger box I usually have about 6 bobbins in one plastic bag. in the middle of the plastic bag, I put a piece of paper in the middle. I do this so I can write the color numbers as well as the colors in the baggy. if you don't have time to cut the paper into the size you need I would get 3x5 index cards those work great too! also make sure you're using floss plastic bobbins not normal bobbins that come in sewing kits! also if it doesn't fit in my backpack I just squish it into a suitcase or giant bag on wheels! hope this helped! ❤️
