Put two pieces of tape on both ends of a piece of string and tape it horizontally on a table. Take your base string and put them on this string using a larks head knot. This video might be able to help you: https://youtu.be/wJDV7bfqZos

sooo, there are a few different ways but how I get a flat top is cut my string a little long than I need it (base strings) and put a piece (or ten) of tape on the edge of it with no knot or anything and just start the braid, I work down, when I finish just simply knot both ends sooooo yeah! this probably doesn't make a lot of sense, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s207z1WmdFQ do the taping like she does!! |
