Hi people, so when You make an alpha and your not using a color do you just put it up or behind the base strings while your not using it if that makes sense???

Correct, the colors you are not using get put behind the bracelet.

@knot2339 . Yes, I normally put the color/leading string behind or to the opposite side of the bracelet that I’m knotting away from. (So if I’m knotting to the left sometimes I put it behind or to the right, since I’m knotting the left, if that makes sense 😊) Doing so can help you not confuse a leading string with a base string especially when the main leading string and base strings are similar or the exact same color!
