Help: How do you delete an erroneous tag on a message board

In my attempt to reply to a message, I mistakenly created a tagged message in the comments section of a pattern. How do I delete that comment?

You cannot delete comments. Only admin can delete comments at all times. We mods can only delete them when they come up in the review process and we only delete them if they violate the guidelines.

We review every individual comment and forum topic on the site. 🙂If we see it pop up in the review, we can delete it. But once it's been reviewed and accepted to the site, only Admin can delete it Basically, my best advice is if you accidentally type someone's username wrong, to just retype an identical message with the correct username right away, and then if we see them back-to-back in the review, we can delete the incorrect one. So for instance, if someone wrote: Hello, how are you? @Tikkilishi The next best thing to do is to duplicate it right away and write: Hello, how are you? @Tikilishi And then one of us will delete the incorrect duplicate. 🙂 I hope this helps 😊 |
