so basically, i do bracelets all the time bc i have adhd and need something to keep my hands busy. but because i do them so much, it makes the sides of my fingers like, sore? idk how else to describe it. it doesn’t create callouses or blisters, it just hurts. like a lot. like to the point i can’t grip things. so yea. any tips?

I like to fidget with rings( made some candy stripe ones). So maybe take small breaks every once in a while to do that.

see i would, but i also have an addiction to making bracelets. i’m also grounded and bracelets are the only thing i can do, so that’s always fun.

When my fingers used to hurt because of making bracelets, I started tying my knots a little bit looser and that helped! Now my fingers don’t hurt at all when I make bracelets! Another thing I can recommend is: not pulling so hard on the strings if your like me and you wrap the string around your fingers to get a better grip on the bracelet. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense.

if you are getting blisters, do what I did, I knotted until my fingers hurt pretty bad, then I just dropped bracelets for a few days (If you want you could switch to rainbow loom or smthg) and after a max of a week you should have callouses. Hope this helps 👍

the first few months i started making bracelets i had a ;o of finger pain. normally it goes away because you get used to it. whats also important is finding the right knotting technique for you (whether its tighter or looser).
