does anyone know how to make their knots very straight and neat?

every time i make an alpha or normal bracelet i can't seem to get the edges straight or my knots nice tight and neat. My knots are always very loose and clumpy and I don't even have very thick string! Any tips would help a lot!!

try to make the first half of your knot tighter. this will help the overall shape of the knot. for rows in alphas, use a ruler and straighten out each row after you make them, or if they’re just bumpy. in normal patters, i’m not sure if you’re having problems but just try making the first half of your not tighter 🙂

hoesnlty it's just practice for getting your knots the right tightness, and specifically for alphas, use the straight edge alpha tehchnique, Masha Knots has a video art it somewhere, I think it's titled more tricks abt alphas, set along those lines. hope that helps
