Idk why but when I start and alpha it starts good and then when I start adding my colors and moving down it like bunches up and is not flat how do I fix that

Hello! I would suggest using a heck of a lot of tape to keep the bracelet flat! You could always press your bracelet when you are odne with it by settin multiple heavy books on top of it! You could also follow the video tutorial from Masha Knots about making flat alphas. Could you tell me the exact pattern number, so I could look at it and be more specific.

This is probably caused by pulling your new leading string too hard across the back of the bracelet when you do a color change. To fix this, you can make sure to not pull too hard, and for some patterns, you can use two different background strings: one on the left side of the design, and one on the right. This would mean that you’re not pulling any strings across the back of the bracelet at all

When you finish your bracelet, flip it over and cut all the strings that are tugging on to each other, then press down. You can secure the back with glue if you want
