Hi! Somethings when I do my bracelets, the string starts running short. I probably didn’t measure it correctly in the beginning, and I’m worried that my bracelet will be too short if I finish it. What should I do if while I’m in the middle of my bracelet and a string gets too short? Please answer!! Thanks!

You can add in more string by taping the new string down behind the bracelet, putting the old string away behind it and then resuming your knotting with the new string. I know there’s a video for it but I forget who, just search up how to replace string in a friendship bracelet and you’ll most likely find a video.

If you're familiar with alphas/switching colors, I usually just replace the short string with that method. I think masha knots has a tutorial 🙂

oh this I just had to deal with yesterday. when you run out of string in normals or alphas you have to weave in a new string. to weave in a new string you take the same color of thread as the pre-existing string and cut the length you want then tape it to your work space behind the bracelet. do a half knot with the new string put the old string across and tie the second half of the knot. if you don't understand this then masha knots has a tutorial called fixing mistakes. I usually just add a new string but if you don’t know how to do that, mash’s knots made a tutorial on it
