How to change colors on someone else's pattern

Hello! I would like to change the colors on pattern #12821, but I want to see how it would look before I make it. Is there an easy way to do that? Thanks! 🙂 |

Oh, I should also note that I'm not planning on posting the pattern after I change the colors.

well you can print it off and just mark in on your own the colors you are changing. An example would be, if you have red on the original pattern you can write next to it the color you are exchanging it with, to say, orange. You would mark it to remind yourself. Check out other peoples photos they have posted and see if the colors they did look good to you. Not sure if this helped, but you can always check out other sites for a pattern with the exact colors you want, but I'm not sure if you'll find one. Good luck! 🙂

this is so sooo late 🙁 but you can do add a variation, then change the colours and press save & test and look at it from there. (it wont publish unless you press the publish button)hope you see this and hope it helped |

@arielperk you log in on the website and click a pattern UOJ want to change. In the right corner of the patter you’ll see an add variation option

when i clicked submit variation it doesn't submit right away. how long does it take to submit a variation?

@insxmniac when you submit a variation, pattern, or photo, it has to be reviewed by one of the moderators before it gets posted to the site.

@insxmniac It takes about a day or so. If you want to view your pattern right away you can screenshot it before you submit it.
