i want to start doing alpha key chains and i was looking on amazon and i'm thinking of getting these ones that kinsey uses: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DNJDRJS/ref=crt_ewc_title_huc_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2T1L5956FRSLP but does anyone know anything that might be better and also what size do i get? 3/4 or 1 in?? |

After starting to use D rings (the ones you linked), they are by far my favourite type of keyring to use. If you want a straight line to work with, then those will be the best choice. As for the size, I brought a pack that had both 1inch and 3/4 inch sizes. It really depends on the amount of strings in the patterns you will be doing as far which to go for. For a guide though the 3/4 inch (for me) is good for patterns that have around 16 strings (which will be 8 strings in total as you will be doubling each), of course that will vary depending on the thickness of string you will be using for your base strings. |

Personally i would go with 1 inch as its a bigger size and you can fit more base strings on it
