is it normal to get blisters or lumps on your fingers from running the string over the same spot all the time?

I don’t get blisters but I do get a callous on my left middle finger.

yeah, that happens to me too it's really annoying. I sometimes just put a band-aid on when that happens so it hurts less.

i have a bump on my finger where I knot. You can try knotting around it like slightly below or above, but also if you do that and it goes away starting to knot the same way again can make it come back. I just keep knotting on top of it because i doesn't hurt.

Yes, it’s pretty normal to get them if you’re new to making bracelets or if you suddenly spend a lot more time knotting than you usually do. If they don’t go away after around a week or two, it’s possible that you’re gripping the strings harder than necessary while you’re knotting

I get blisters all the time, to get reduce them you could try tying your knots tighter/wearing a band aid. What I personally did was stop making bracelets for a little while to let my hands heal. Also moisturising them regularly can help

Also I’ve found that if you knot slower you’re less likely to get blisters

i get blisters on my fingers all the time but to prevent them you can just put band aids on where you usually get blisters

Yes I use to get them a lot before, I was making the knots very tightly and the tension from pulling so hard made me get them. If you want to stop getting them try to make your knots more loosely, that helped me and now I don’t get them

That would happen to me, but eventually the skin in that place just gets tougher and it doesn't hurt any more. Hope this helps!!
