for pattern #38290. start with the double chevron, starting with the dark blue on row 1 through the light blue string on row 7. after that, make the dark blue diamond in the middle. to do this, tie the dark blue strings together, and with the right string tie a forward and forward backward knot, and with the left string a backward and backward forward knot. after completing these knots, tie a knot between the two orange strings for the center of the diamond. after this close the diamond with the two dark blue strings, knotting like a (really small) chevron. after you do the diamond in the middle, do the two dark blue triangle shapes on the sides. to do this, just follow the knots of the pattern, its pretty self explanatory. after this, do the two light blue diamond. they are made the same way as the dark blue diamond in the middle that you did earlier. for the first diamond, knot the two strings together and with the right string tie a forward and forward backward knot, and with the left string a backward and backward forward knot. after completing these knots, tie a knot between the two light orange strings for the center of the diamond. after this close the diamond with the two light blue strings, knotting like a (really small) chevron. then, do the same for the other light blue diamond. after completing these two diamonds, you will be back in the position to do the double chevrons again. this completes the pattern, so just repeat it until the bracelet is a long as you want. hope this helps!

Heres a little tip: you can do even the smallest sections at a time when you segment knot. People think that you always have to do huge sections at a time, but no! Amd there is no wrong way to segment knot, every way is different!
