You are probably having trouble adding friends because of your rank as a beginner. Lower ranks have a limit on how many friends can be added but to level up, you need to be active. Post comments, rate patterns, respond to forum posts, post pictures, post patterns, etc.

You have to rank up to advanced to send a friend request but you can still accept them.

@giannastir To add friends, find someone’s profile and click the orange button in the top right corner that says “Add to Friends”. If you want to find someone’s todo list, go to their profile and scroll down until you see the word “Todo” on the left side. If you want to make your own to do list, find a pattern you like and click the orange “Add To Do” box in the top right corner.

You should see an “Add to friends” button in the top right corner when you are on someone’s profile. If you don’t see it, you might need to level up some more.
