Hello, I recently got sparkly string from Micheals but I don’t know what pattern I should use it for 🙁 please reply if you know some patterns! (Preferably Alphas, or thick/hard normals) thank you so much!

There's a lot of good patterns you can use metallic strings, I recommend @Tikilishi 's patterns, and about alphas, May try the patterns that have stars in it and you can make the stars stand out more with metallic treads.Hope this helps! |

Maybe #68588 or #76571. Basically any pattern where there’s like a border around some colors, maybe try looking up “border” “borders” or “outline” / “outlined”

Hey, o many patterns are good but Metalic string can be hard to use cause it breaks pretty easy so I recommend patterns you don't need it much like patterns with stars, outlines or small areas for it but in big portions, 👍 it breaks and becomes really stringy hope this helps, good luck.

#57277 is a good one for metallic string but not as the background

#47186 could be cool with the stars (idk what color metallic string you have though)Also if you tie a little knot right at the end of the strand it’ll keep the metallic strands from separating and it’s easier to work with |

This is a VSCO pattern but I think if you make the wave with a nice metallic color and add a plain color as the background it will look awesome!#38672 I hope you like this! ❤️ |

I used it in #28565 for the string. I agree it would look good as stars.

I don't recommend using mentality string for backgrounds but instead you could use it for like moon pattern it would look good in a white and/or grey color 🙂

I think any pattern could work for metallic thread.

Anything with stars looks so pretty imo! Metallics are really scratchy to wear tho so I’m not sure about how much you would want it on the bracelet for wear

just don’t- lol i hate metallic with everything in me. i have heard some people use something i think is called “thread magix”. it’s a wax of sorts you rub on your strings. might help the metallic be more manageable. you also need to make knots at either end of your metallic to keep it from fraying. otherwise- patterns like alphas with two colors where one color is heavily more dominant. then use the metallic for the less dominant color. i personally prefer to use DMC étoile. despite its strange look you can use it exactly like regular dmc and it helps you still get that sparkly look- good luck!
