how to add strings in the edit pattern?

Hi everyone!I wanted to edit a new pattern but i didn't success to add strings. When you open the editor, 8 is already written for the number of strings. I didn't find the way to increase the number of strings. Could you help me? Thank you |

Look for the color order (aaaabbbb or something like that is the default). Each color has a letter assigned: the first color is a, second is b, third is c, etc. Put the letters in that box - for example, for 3 sets of alternating a b and c (9 strings), type abcabcabc.

thank you ! I just tried again and it works! It was because the knots didn't match with the number of strings.This editor is not very easy to use. It is not intuitive. |
