I’ve asked this question before but can’t find the answers so how many knots do you guys recommend for a loop

it depends on how many strings you have, if youre gonna do a teardrop loop, a single triangle or two trianglesall you have to do is eyeball it not make it very small so the tie cant got through, nor very big that it looks proportional happy knotting! |

i usually use 19 total knots (the center one which attaches strings, and 8 others on each side), and that gives me a loop with an opening that’s about a centimeter (long?). it’s based on personal preference, though, since i’ve seen people make loops that are smaller, meaning they’re more circular. it just depends on the look you want, and if it’s big enough for the twisted ties ofc lol

For me it depends on if I’m making an alpha or a normal pattern. The amount of knots I make in an alpha pattern is around 26 knots. The amount of knots I make in a normal pattern is around 20 knots.
