I don’t live in Australia so I can’t help you with that one sorry, you can always try Amazon for thread but they can be pretty hit or miss. Some bracelet youtubers with great tutorials are Masha Knots, Alex’s Innovations, Kinsey B, Jadyn Knots and Creations By Claira. Megan Morris on YouTube has a video on how to knot faster which should help you finish a bracelet faster. A clip board is a great way to make bracelets on the go or you could safety pin it to your pants but that can be kind of awkward. Masha Knots has a great video on how to read the different types of patterns for both alpha and normal patterns. As well as those videos I would recommend watching Masha’s beginners guide to friendship bracelets. Hope this helped

If you search craft stores near me on Google, you might be able to find some stores that sell supplies near you

For your braclalett on the go you could use a safety pin and when you get together in the braclalett you can use a mother one

Some YouTubers that I like to watch (that have tutorials) are Masha Knots and Kinsey B. I use a clipboard to make bracelets when I am traveling somewhere. Also, Kinsey B made a tutorial about reading alpha patterns. Masha Knots made a tutorial on reading both normal and alpha patterns.

I like to buy my string from Hobby Lobby, Walmart, or Micheal’s. Idk if any of those stores are in Australia, but you could also buy string from Amazon.
