If you search on YouTube for Masha Knots’ alpha videos, she has 2 and they’re both very beginner friendly! I would recommend the “Flat Alpha Bracelets- Beginner Tutorial” video 🙂

Hi I agree with @oop- first watch the video that Masha knots made then to start off find a pattern that is thin and has two colors. That way it will get you into the color switching. Once you do that watch the rainbow alpha tutorial by Masha knots. Once you make that bracelet than you will be ready to go on you alpha journey. Here are the links https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YVFAX9sacw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePr81hbvdjE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmRLgBg3nG4 Hope this helps 😊 |

masha knots has a couple beginner friendly videos for alphas and alex's innovations has a video on alphas and one on the flat alpha technique. kinsey b also has a video on reading alpha patterns but in the video she uses a different technique that isn't the same as the other two videos. i will link the videos i mentioned.masha knots flat alpha technique: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YVFAX9sacw&t=1177s masha knots how to read alpha bracelets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePr81hbvdjE alex's innovations beginners guide to alphas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWJNn077rTc&t=39s alex's innovations flat alpha technique: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIUWg15EUIo kinsey b how to read alpha patterns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksuB0I3nLTU&t=598s there's also some tutorials on braceletbook in the videos and in the tutorials section! |

Something to think about: your alpha strings, or the colored ones that you will bring in are supposed to be brought in neatly, which can be hard, but tuck it neatly under your other strings and make the first knot a little bit loose so you don’t mess it up

Looks like other people have got you covered with tutorials! When you're making your first few alphas, make easy ones. These are some cute and easy ones: #286 #63257 #54270 🙂

@Ziggyknots Here is some tips that might help:Try and use embroidery thread that is of the same thickness so your knots are not different sizes Until you get confident with alphas, maybe don't use textured thread like sparkly or metallic as they are difficult to work with Do a pattern that has few colour changes as at first, it can be a bit overwhelming Try not to knot when you're tired or are not motivated as you are more likely to mess up and you can't or don't want to fix it Choose a pattern that you really like so are more motivated to make, finish and fix it Choose a pattern that doesn't have as many base strings because it can be harder to work with Make sure your bracelet is taped down to a surface so it isn't moving when you're knotting Make sure you leave enough thread at the beginning of your bracelet so you can easily do your ties unless you're doing a loop Try and keep the same tension throughout your bracelet so your knots are uniform making your bracelet look neater Try the straight edges technique (a forward backward and backward forward knot on the first and last base strings) Try not to use thread that is fraying Make sure your base strings are long enough for your bracelet and ties (if you do any) Make sure your leading string is long enough so you won't have to replace it as often or just use it whilst it's not cut I hope that helped and let me know if you need any help whatsoever |

Aww thank you so much @Meelie! You have put so much effort into writing all the lovely information on alphas! I really appreciated everyone's help and effort for helping me too! I Also loved all the patterns you guys had requested, plus my first alpha patten was #74248 (it was a lollipop!)
