Hi I've been making bracelets for a while but I am not the best so I'm looking for some real beginner designs that are a bit more that the basic braid, candy stripe or original chevron pls any suggestions would be great also if you have any for a simple and easy tapristry sort of thing (idk how to spell it lol) that would be great to! 🙈 ❤️ 😂 🤪 🤔 😇

Variations of the chevron are always greet because they involve forward backward and backward forward knots which the regular chevron doesn’t include so it’s great practice. I would recommend the polka dot chevron, stitched chevron and the staggered chevron, all of which Masha Knots has a tutorial for.

When I was a beginner, I would mainly watch videos/tutorials to learn how to make bracelets. Kinsey B has a lot of tutorials, and she specifically has a beginner playlist, so I would suggest doing some of those first.

You could do pattern #18 which is easy and you could find many tutorials on YouTube for it! Also the pattern looks really nice.

Also the dotted Chevron is really nice! When I was a beginner I used Marsha Knotts tutorial and it was one of my favorite patterns!

Here are some simple patterns that I think you could like : #71222, #68679, #62796, #60126, #56882, #56883, #43769 and #601 (this one might seem complicated but it's really simple : you alternate one row of forward knots and one row of backward knots)

@pollymay how about the alternating chevron, bordered chevron, braided stitch, braided leaf and the fishbone chevron. I hope that helps!
