Hello BB users! I've made a TON of projects over the last few weeks and I've gathered up LOTS of scrap string but the pieces are long and I don't want to just throw them out. Does anyone have any recommendations for scrap string patterns? (Also feel free to recommend more then one pattern I'll probably make a few scrap string patterns) Thank you so much!!! ❤️ 😉 😄 😊 🙂

You could make a rug rag which is a keychain or small alpha with lined and frilled edges

I use them in alpha if I don’t need a whole lot of one color. My Christmas light bracelet was made almost entirely of scrap threads

any alpha tbh, but i recently made pattern #63653 exclusively with scraps, but in general look through your scrap box before any alpha, moste of the time you'll find something helpfull

I like to use scrap string for my alpha base strings. It's a great way to recycle! Also, sometimes I run out of a certain color that I wanted to use for an alpha, and I find more of it in my scrap string pile, so it's super helpful! 😄

If you long enough scrap strings use them as base strings or else you could take a pattern which is quite plain and using your base strings make like a multicolor background. It looks AWESOME! ❤️

I use my scrap strings as keychain's base strings, or tiny parts in an alpha, like right now, I'm working on #35527 , the pink cheeks doesn't need long strings so I used my scrap strings instead of cutting more. You can also may those rug looking edges keychains (I never made them but I think it will be a good way to use the scrap strings), I'm not entirely sure what they are called, but I think they'll be fine. I also use my scrap strings to tie a tassel in the ends of my keychain alphas and bookmarks. Sorry if this is kind of confusing and long, but I hope these ideas help!

I use my scrap strings to make rainbow alphas ( Masha Knots has a tutorial on how to make it) or making rag-rugs (Alex’s Innovations made a tutorial on how to make it).

you can make a rag rug or a flip flop (alpha) with shorter scrap strings, and for longer scrap strings, you can use them as base strings for alphas or in alphas like #43206 or #52821

anything with small amounts of a colour! take #19454 for instance. the little stars in the background could be made of scraps, because it wont use a lot of thread and they are pretty far apart! ❤️
