You can also filter the patterns. Set the type to alpha and the amount of colours and strings both to a low number. I recommend to sort by loves or photos to get the most popular patterns. This way you should find lots of patterns that meet your requirements.

#54001 is a cute rainbow, #60899 is a snake (only 2 colors needed) and # 25299 is a shark, it is small and not difficult!

anything with 2 or 3 colours is great! i made the mistake of making my first alpha 5 or 6 colours! it was tricky but when i had a go at some patterns with less colours, it was less of a burden to knot. you can check my todos if you want to find some nice patterns with only 2 colours! ❤️
